Joel has demonstrated the ability to evaluate project coherence with decisive analytical skills. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to advancing the path towards Net Zero. His work includes delivering engineering solutions, creating commercial models, and supporting the implementation of capital projects and policy for various entities including central and local governments, engineering contractors and consulting services. Joel's broad experience spans multiple areas such as renewable energy technologies, district heat networks, energy efficiency, energy storage, and refrigeration. He operates from a technical, commercial, and regulatory standpoint. At present, he is the director of Translating Energy Ltd, a consultancy company focused on driving towards Net Zero. Joel's prior roles include a heat network specialist for the UK Central Government Civil Service and project enabler for HermeticaBlack. He is known for resolving complex problems by harnessing diverse teams and facilitating effective decision-making. Additionally, he enjoys playing the bass guitar, outdoor sports, car maintenance, and volunteering in his community.
