Ryan is a freelance data scientist, software developer, and creative technologist with over a decade's worth of experience. His specialty is designing and building data-powered prototypes, infrastructure, and MVPs that are scrappy yet functional; not over-engineered, but useful to work with and learn from, and serve as a basis to build upon. Ryan has done so to solve gnarly problems for clients big (including several of the Fortune 100) and small (seed-stage startups, non-profits), in a wide variety of industries (mobility, retail, education, healthcare, and more). He has consulted on data and software projects for the past 6 years, currently independently and before that 4.5 years at the design firm IDEO. Ryan struck off on his own to have the opportunity to provide high-impact help to startups and organizations working on challenges that are interesting and worthwhile, particularly in climate tech and social good. In his free time, Ryan enjoys exploring the world in search of delicious food and drink, and playing music (some of it is even listenable!).
