Sophie is a seasoned climate strategist. She specializes in greenhouse gas emissions accounting, impact reporting, and carbon markets. She has extensive experience working in early-stage environments and is passionate about supporting projects and ideas that enable broad-based decarbonization. She started her careers as a Venture for America fellow in Philadelphia, where she worked at a bootstrapped greentech start-up. She then returned to the Yale School of the Environment to complete her Masters, where we worked in a research lab focused on environmental data analytics. Here, she contributed to a project that was awarded a prize by the UN Pulse and COP23. She then stayed on a the Yale Center for Business and Environment as an Environmental Innovation Fellow, where she built programming for and advised dozens of student-founded environmental companies. She received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in early 2022, and has been working at as a Carbon Strategy Manager of an early-stage consumer climate-tech company. Outside of work, she is an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast!
