How much time does it take to be involved?
As much or as little as you want. Some members just join the dinners a few times a year; others are active in the WhatsApp group and smaller meet-ups.There are no obligations , just opportunities to connect when it's useful.
How do you select members?
We review every application manually. We're looking for leaders who are actively driving sustainability or ESG initiatives inside established organisations.The goal isn't to exclude, but to make sure everyone gets genuine peer-to-peer value from being in the room.
Why does Leafr do this?
Many sustainability leaders tell us they feel isolated and without a proper forum to share concerns and learnings. Having worked in the space for a while, we've felt the same. We believe in the power of networks, so we started this community. And frankly, we love a good meal with good company!
Is this really for senior leaders only?
Yes - our members are Chief Sustainability Officers, Heads of Sustainability, ESG Directors, and equivalent roles leading sustainability strategy in their organisations. We keep the group intentionally small and senior-level so that every conversation feels relevant, practical, and candid.
Can I nominate someone else to be invited to this community?
Yes - if they are a leader in the sustainability space, and you think they'd be a good addition, feel free to send them this page. We will still have to approve the invite, so let us know via email too so we can look out for them.

How much does it cost?
Membership of the community comes with no fees. Dinners are either free or heavily subsidised.
Who's in the community?
We're currently 200+ active sustainability leaders in the community, with another 1,000 vetted experts on the wider Leafr platform. Members include leaders from Uber, Kingfisher, Nandos, Oxford University, FedEx, Unilever and many more.
Where and when are events held?
We host dinners at restaurants in major cities including London and Bristol with international events in the pipeline. Dates vary, but we usually run one at least every 2 months.
What is Leafr?
Leafr is the world's largest platform of vetted independent sustainability consultants , connecting companies with top fractional experts, resources, and tools to help them hit their sustainability, climate and ESG goals.
What happens at the dinners?
There's usually a welcome drink, occasionally a short talk from an industry expert, but the main focus is good food, meaningful conversation, and helpful connections.
